Valerie is responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across the firm’s credit investments, fund formation and operational activities. She brings years of legal and real estate experience, most recently serving for the last 10 years as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at a NY based real estate investment firm and fund manager with over $6.2 billion in capital invested. Earlier in her career, Valerie practiced law at King & Spalding LLP, Goodwin Procter LLP, and Hunton & Williams LLP, focusing on real estate and private equity transactions. She holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and her B.A. from Trinity College.
